The Classic Rock Jukebox: Rock And Roll Road Trip, Summer Songs, And Remembering The Purple One.

rock trip

On this episode of the Classic Rock Jukebox, we got out our road maps and took a little trip to some real and fictitious geographical locations including Hotel California, Rockaway Beach, and Tenth Avenue. Plus, since it was the last show of the spring semester, I added in a small dose of summer songs. I also included a really great tribute to Prince, featuring songs picked by YOU! Please listen and enjoy!

On this episode of the Classic Rock Jukebox, it was all about the music as we honored this year’s inductees to the Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame including ELO, Joan Baez, Yes, Journey, 2Pac, Pearl Jam,and Nile Rodgers. I tried to play a few songs per group/artist and includes some live performances from the event and a speech. The Classic Rock Jukebox: Dark Side Of The Moon Spin and More Pink Floyd

dark side

On this episode of the Classic Rock Jukebox, I played the next album up in the monthly installment of the “take a walk on the vinyl side “segment. I thought it would be really cool to play and re-visit this iconic album, celebrating 44 years. I also looked at a bunch of other great Pink Floyd tunes, rare tracks, and live performances to celebrate the upcoming release of Pink Floyd: The Early Years 1965-1972 as individual volumes.

Note: Due to a technical issue at the radio station/studio, I actually had to re-record the episode from home. While it’s not the standard quality, it’s not bad and still enjoyable! I just wanted you to get a show and enjoy it.
